ChBE STEPS Program at Georgia Tech
|
The School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking underrepresented minority students who are majoring in chemistry, biology, physics, math, or other degrees who wish to pursue a career in chemical engineering. The ChBE STEPS Program is a summer semester program designed especially for science majors at community and liberal arts colleges. The program facilitates the student's introduction into Chemical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Application deadline is February 15. |

SuperMe provides scientific
exploration ranging from engineering to sciences with a coherent intellectual focus on scientific computing. With integrated expertise of ten faculty researchers from both computer systems and domain applications, SuperMe allows each undergraduate to conduct meaningful research, such as developing supercomputing techniques and tools, and solving cutting-edge research problems through parallel computing and scientific visualization. |

Global change research encompasses a number of technical areas, including atmospheric sciences, ecology, global carbon cycles, climate, and terrestrial processes. |

The Georgia Tech FOCUS 2009 Program |
The Georgia Tech FOCUS 2009 Program You are invited to apply as a prospective Scholar participant in FOCUS 2009. The program will be held in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia Tech, January 15-18, 2009, and is one of the nation’s premier programs for raising the awareness of graduate education. It is designed to attract the best and brightest underrepresented minority students and encourage them to pursue graduate degrees, although the program is open to any student who thinks the program will be of value. This year’s program celebrates eighteen years of diversity in graduate school! |

DHS HS-STEM Summer Internship Program: |
Apply now for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) HS-STEM Summer Internship Program that will support students during summer 2008. This program provides 10-week summer internships at federal research facilities for undergraduate students majoring in homeland security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics (HS-STEM) disciplines.
